METHOD FOR DELIVERING AND CONSTRUCTING STATUS INFORMATION AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A method for delivering and constructing status information and a system thereof are provided to prevent the waste of resources by recovering a buffer based on abbreviated state information. A serving base station receives an HO-IND(Handover Indication) message from a mobile station(302), and confirms the state information of a transmission buffer and a receiving buffer(304). The serving base station configures the state information of an ARQ(automatic Repeat Request)(306), and transmits the configured ARQ state information and the stored ARQ blocks to a target base station(308). The ARQ state information includes Starting_ARQ_BSN, Last_ARQ_BSN, Valid_ARQ_BSN and Reset_status.
