<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing processes of writing and reading compressed data of the same line to and from an image memory from being simultaneously performed. <P>SOLUTION: When the processes of writing and reading of the compressed data of the same line to and from the image memory compete with each other, the writing/reading control means 763 controls the compressed data of the line to be written so as to be maintained in a buffer area 766a. Accordingly, the processes of writing and reading the compressed data of the same line to and from the image memory are surely prevented from being simultaneously performed. Moreover, since the writing/reading control means 763 controls the reading of the compressed data of the line maintained in the buffer area 766a upon reading the compressed data of the line, newly compressed data is surely read which is of the line maintained in the buffer area 766a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
