<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae and producing an L-amino acid in high efficiency, and a method for efficiently producing an L-amino acid by using the microorganism. <P>SOLUTION: An L-amino acid is produced by culturing, in a medium, a microorganism belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae, having L-amino acid producing capacity and modified to increase the expression of the yggG gene thereby producing and accumulating the L-amino acid in the medium or in the bacterial cell and recovering the L-amino acid from the medium or the bacterial cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
