<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silanol compound, which simply and efficiently produces a silanol compound by using a catalyst that can be easily prepared and repeatedly used, in a method for producing a silanol compound by oxidizing a silane compound. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the silanol compound comprises oxidizing a silane compound in the presence of a hydroxyapatite having silver immobilized on its surface prepared by immobilizing silver on the surface of a hydroxyapatite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
