<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can prevent disturbance of an image such as smear or the like because of saturated charge of a photo diode even if an intense light such as sunlight or the like enters. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a lighting section for supplying a lighting light; a lighting control section for repeating turning-on control multiple times after the lighting section is turned off for a predetermined time within an exposing time of one frame; photoelectric conversion sections provided to each of pixels; an exposing time control section for controlling the exposing time, so that the photoelectric conversion section may be exposed for the predetermined time during each of turning-on and turning-off periods of the lighting section; a substraction section for calculating a value corresponding to a difference of an exposed quantity obtained by the photoelectric conversion section between the turning-on period and the turning-off period of the lighting section; an integration section for integrating a value calculated by the subtraction section; a determination section for determine whether the integrated value obtained by the integration section reaches a predetermined value; and an exposure stopping section for stopping exposure of all pixels in one frame to the exposure time control section when it is determined that the integrated value in n pixels reaches the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
