<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot information providing system for precisely predicting a crowded condition at an estimated arrival time. <P>SOLUTION: This parking lot information providing system is provided with: a parking lot information storage means 29 for storing the capacity of a parking lot P and the peripheral parking lots Pa to Pc; an entry/exit information acquisition means 28 for collecting entry/exit information of vehicles of the parking lot and the peripheral parking lots; a statistical information storage means 31 for storing the number of entering and stay time of vehicles in each time band for each parking lot and each peripheral parking lot; a vacancy prediction information generation means 26 for comparing the predicted number of parked vehicles predicted from the number of the parked vehicles of the parking lots and the statistical information with the capacity, and for generating vacancy prediction information for predicting whether or not the parking lots are full at an estimated time to arrive at the destination; a correction means 32 for, when the peripheral parking lots are more crowded than average crowded condition, increasing the predicted number of parked vehicles of the parking lots in generating the vacancy prediction information; and a transmission means 23 for transmitting the vacancy prediction information to the vehicles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
