<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power when an amount of traffic to be processed is little in a network having redundant configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A management server 200 of an IP network system 100 is provided with: a traffic amount monitoring means 201 for acquiring traffic amounts of a plurality of pieces of network equipment 410, 420 connected in the network by the redundant configuration; a comparison means 202 for comparing the traffic amounts processed by the pieces of network equipment with a prescribed threshold; and a mode selection means 203 for selecting either of a normal mode for operating all the pieces of network equipment or a degeneration mode for stopping a piece of network equipment at a redundant part according to a comparison result by the comparison means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
