摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Nb<SB>3</SB>Sn superconducting wire rod made by using the internal Sn method of which mechanical strength is reinforced and of which excellent superconducting characteristics can be exhibited by enabling uniform processing at the time of diameter reduction processing, and to provide a precursor therefor (superconducting wire rod precursor). <P>SOLUTION: This is a multi-element wire, for a superconducting wire rod precursor used upon manufacturing the Nb<SB>3</SB>Sn superconducting wire rod by using the internal diffusion method, in which an Sn or an Sn-based alloy core is arranged in the center and a plurality of single element wires having a Cu or a Cu-based alloy matrix and a plurality of Nb or Nb-based alloy filaments are arranged in the circumference are arranged being tied in a bundle.
