<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator capable of efficiently and surely separating a cylindrical connected fabric into each part fabric. <P>SOLUTION: This separator A separates a cylindrically connected fabric 1 where a plurality of part fabrics 1a are connectedly knitted in series by connecting parts 1c using a melting yarn 1b, into each part fabric 1a. The separator has a pair of fabric supporting molds 2 and 2 which are arranged in parallel along the connection direction of the connected fabric 1, and support the connected fabric 1 in a condition of developing to both the sides in the width direction; and a hot air supply side duct 3 and a discharge side duct 4 which are oppositely arranged on both sides so as to be approachable and separable, putting a response surface of the connected fabric 1 between, and approach when the melting yarn 1b melts and surround the periphery of the connecting parts 1c of the connected fabric 1 so as to form a melting chamber 7.
