PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of pneumatic tire which has an inner liner layer made up of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition and can remedy a fretting trouble to the inner liner layer without giving rise to the worsening of productivity, as well as a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has the inner liner layer 10 composed of the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by blending a thermoplastic resin component and an elastomer component, arranged in the inner face of the tire. When a green tire T is vulcanized inside a mold 31 of a vulcanizing machine 30 after molding, the vulcanizing machine 30 without a bladder is used. Further, in this case, a heating medium is supplied to the interior of a cavity part T2 of the green tire T, and the green tire T is vulcanized by bringing the heating medium into direct contact with the green tire T.
