PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which enables the altering of the degree of difficulty in a skill-stop operation. SOLUTION: The slot machine 10 includes: a cylindrical reel 50 rotatable circumferentially with a plurality of symbols on its outer circumferential surface; a reel display window making the symbols on the reel 50 visually recognizable from outside; a shielding means 64 which moves rotating independent of the reel 50 and can shield a partial area of the reel 50 visually recognizable through the reel display window; and a controller which changes the range of the outer circumferential surface of the reel 50 visually recognizable through the reel display window 30 by moving the shielding means 64.
