PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize winning device for game machines, which enables the simplification and miniaturization of its structure by: arranging a structure of combining a transmission function of drive force and a lock function against illegal outside; and making a transmission member move along the front-back direction. SOLUTION: Under the jackpot state, when a plunger 21 is displaced backward to an intermediate position from its protruding position, an engaging pin 31 gets the first notched recessed part 41 retracted and so, a cylindrical rocking shaft 42 retracts with a slotlike recessed part 32 until contacting a backward stop wall part 64c. This causes a lock piece 44 to move backward along straight wall parts 61 and 62 to get a lock mechanism released. Subsequently, when the plunger 21 is displaced backward to the retraction position from the intermediate position, the engaging pin 31 forces the first notched recessed part 41 to retract, but the cylindrical rocking shaft 42 rotates around the axis O2 of its rocking because its backward movement is blocked with the backward stop wall part 64c.
