摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bearing structure of general versatility for a spindle motor made highly functional by getting rid of oil leakage to the outside of a housing of lubricating oil oozing from a motor shaft. SOLUTION: A ring-shaped cap to cover the opening part of the housing in a non-contact state with respect to a bearing is a porous body impregnated with an oil repellent agent, and its clearance from the motor shaft in the inner diameter side of the ring-shaped cap is made larger than a clearance between an oil-impregnated sintered bearing and the motor shaft. Thereby, this motor bearing structure is excellent in handling since it does not lose sealing effect when manufacturing and processing a motor differently from a sealing material to which an oil repellent agent is applied, noise and torque loss are not caused since the motor shaft whirling along the inner diameter of the oil impregnated sintered bearing is not brought into contact with the ring-shaped cap, and excellent in mass productivity since allowances can be given to accuracy in coaxiality of the ring-shaped cap and the motor shaft.
