SLIDE BEARING COMPOSITE MATERIAL, USE AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION

The invention relates to a slide bearing composite material which comprises a support layer from a copper alloy and a bearing coating applied to said support layer. The copper alloy may comprise 4 to 11 % by weight of nickel, 3 to 8 % by weight of tin, = 0.1 % by weight of lead. The bearing coating can be a sputter layer that is applied without any intermediate layer. The invention also relates to methods of producing such a composite material.
