<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless IC device which has stable frequency characteristics and also has enhanced transfer efficiency of signal energy. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless IC device includes a wireless IC chip 5, a power supply circuit 16 upon which the wireless IC chip 5 is mounted, and which includes a resonant circuit having a predetermined resonance frequency, and a radiation plate 20 near which the power supply circuit 16 is disposed, and which radiates a transmission signal supplied from the power supply circuit 16 and receives a reception signal to supply it to the power supply circuit 16.
