<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and program for deciding the opening degree of eyes for highly precisely detecting the opening/closing degree of the eyes regardless of the individual difference in the sizes of the eyes, and to provide an imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The device for deciding the opening degree of eyes inputs an image, detects a face of a person from the input image, calculates a feature amount associated with the open/closed state of the eyes of the detected face, calculates a difference between the calculated feature amount and a predetermined feature amount, as a feature-change value, and calculates the opening/closing degree of the eyes of the detected face on the basis of the weighted feature amount and the feature-change amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
