<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus of storing an extra length of optical fibers, an apparatus for storing optical fibers for each port and easily removing the stored optical fibers of specific ports with an extremely simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a base 1, clamps 11a-11d which are installed on this base in a plurality of places according to a storing shape 4 of optical fibers and which are designed to hold the optical fibers, and a plate 2 having holes 21a, 21b, etc. which are each drilled at a position corresponding to the clamps for inserting the clamps respectively. The optical fibers held by the clamps are partitioned with plates for each port to form a stacked structure. The stacked structure is fixedly tightened with fixing bands 3a, 3b.
