<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water trap which is simple in structure, and achieves smooth draining or prevention of inconveniences including back flow, by adjusting the momentum of drainage. <P>SOLUTION: The water trap is formed of: a receiving member having an upper opening formed in an upper portion thereof, for receiving drainage; a draining outlet port formed in a side surface of the receiving member; a cover member covering the opening of the receiving member; and a draining inlet port formed in the receiving member or the cover member.
