PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overturn of a movable scroll regarding a scroll compressor. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor (1) is equipped with a fixed scroll (24), the movable scroll (26), a thrust bearing (28) formed on a sliding surface between the fixed scroll (24) and the movable scroll (26), and a high-pressure oil supply mechanism (6) for supplying high-pressure oil to the thrust bearing (28). The high-pressure oil supply mechanism (6) comprises an oil supply passage (60) formed in the movable scroll (26) and having an upstream end opening to an oil chamber (27) and a downstream end opening to the thrust bearing (28), a flow-rate limiting member (7) inserted into the oil supply passage (60) and formed with a spiral passage (60a) on its periphery, and a valve mechanism (8) for opening the oil supply passage (60) when differential pressure between pressure of high-pressure oil and suction pressure is as large as a predetermined value or larger and for blocking the oil supply passage (60) when the differential pressure is less than the predetermined value.
