PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter compactly installing a rolling controller on the back side of a seedling table, locating a transplanting part close to a traveling vehicle, compacting and lightening the machine body. SOLUTION: Provided is the rice transplanter comprising a traveling vehicle 1 mounting an engine 2, a transplanting section 15 equipped with a seedling table 16 and seedling planting claws 17, a hitch device 24 to couple the transplanting section 15 to the traveling vehicle 1 through a link mechanism 27, and a rolling controller 151 controlling the transverse inclination of the transplanting section 15, wherein the transplanter is arranged to support the rolling controller 151 on the upper end side of the hitch device 24 in a tilting posture substantially parallel to the bottom of a higher position than a longitudinal belt 123 of the bottom of the seedling table 16.
