PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for growing insects, which does not impose stress on larvae at all, has no concern for attaching bacteria and insect pests such as mite etc., to larvae transfers larvae to a new growing container and changes feeds. SOLUTION: The container for growing insects is equipped with a cylindrical container main body 1, an upper lid 2 that is detachably fixed on the upper end part of the main body and places the lid on the upper end opening of the container main body 1, a connection cylinder 3 that forms connection parts 4 and 7 connectable to the lower end part and the upper end part of the container main body 1 in a communication state on the upper and lower parts of the inner peripheral surface of the connection cylinder, respectively, and a lower part lid 9 removably arranged between the upper and the lower connection parts 4 and 7 on the inner peripheral surface of the connection cylinder 3 and places the lid on the lower end opening of the container main body 1 when the connection cylinder 3 is connected to the container main body 1. The container has a constitution that a growing bed 14 is packed in the inside of the container main body 1 in which the lid is placed on the lower end opening by connecting the upper connection part 4 of the connection cylinder 3 to the lower end part of the container main body 1 and the upper part lid 2 is placed on the upper end opening of the container main body 1 in a state in which larvae are held in the container.
