<p>The present invention relates to methods, devices and apparatuses for performing controlled liquid handling, and particularly, for performing controlled liquid handling in micro conduit systems. The invention involves pressing the liquid to be controlled against an enclosed gas to pressurize the gas, and controlling the flow of the liquid by controlling the subsequent evacuation of the pressurized gas. The present invention may be use for liquid handling in chemical and biomedical analysis systems.</p> |
