A method for measuring the amount of snowfall is provided to measure the real amount of snowfall by considering the height decrease of the accumulated snow due to wind, heat, sinking, etc. A method for measuring the amount of snowfall comprises the steps of setting the section of time calculating the amount of snowfall; a setting a plurality of measuring points within the section; measuring the amount of snowfall at the each measuring point; calculating the difference value by subtracting the before-measurement value from the post-measurement value among the measurement values of the each measuring point; and adding the only (+) values among the difference value to calculate the amount of snowfall in the section.
