IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the affect of a defective pixel of a display device by increasing a resolution of a displayed image.

SOLUTION: The method of displaying an image 12 includes: a step for receiving image data 16 for the image; a step for buffering the image data for the image, including a step for creating a frame 28 of the image; a step for defining a first sub-frame 301 and at least a second sub-frame 302 for the frame of the image; and a step for displaying the first sub-frame and the second sub-frame, including a step for synthesizing a step for shifting the displayed image of the second sub-frame with a step for displaying the second sub-frame.
