<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system for easily and quickly restoring data to a state before the abnormal interruption of a power source occurs. <P>SOLUTION: This memory system includes: a volatile first storage part; a nonvolatile second storage part; and a controller that captures the management information of data stored in the second storage part in the first storage part when the memory system is started up, and performs data management while updating the management information. The management information in a latest state captured in the first storage part is stored in the second storage part, and includes a pre-log before and after the change of the management information to be generated before the change of the management information and a post-log related with the change of the management information to be generated after the change of the management information, and the pre-log and the post-log are stored in the same page in blocks 50A and 50B sequentially from a page k following the pre-log and post-log stored until a snapshot is stored in the blocks 50A and 50B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
