PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quietness of an engine in a stop of travelling and fuel consumption, and to improve travelling performance by the engine at the same time in a travelling farm working machine comprising a travelling machine body 2 supported by wheels 5 and 6, an engine 7 mounted on the travelling machine body, and a travelling shifting transmission 8 for shifting the wheels for drive with the engine, and further, comprising a shifting operating means (a shift pedal) 12 for shifting the travelling shaft transmission to acceleration or deceleration of the travelling speed. SOLUTION: A cam means 37 interlocked with a shifting operating means is provided, and when a rotation changing means (an accelerator lever) 7a of the engine changes the shifting operating means to deceleration with the cam means, engine speed is operated to acceleration, and when the shifting operating means is operated to be shifted to deceleration, engine speed is operated to deceleration.
