PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume composition capable of masking a particular odor of an acidic hair cosmetic and being excellent in long term stability, and further let off favorable fragrance from a bottle filled with the hair cosmetic as well as in its use and lasting note after use. SOLUTION: The perfume composition for the hair cosmetic at pH 1-5 includes at least two selected from among the perfume materials mainly characteristic in diffusion of perfume in the foam of an ingredient (E) and at a mouth of bottle of an ingredient (F), and favorable in the lasting note after use of an ingredient (G), wherein the contents of the ingredients (E), (F) and (G) are 10-70 mass%, 5-60 mass% and 10-60 mass%, respectively, in the perfume composition.
