TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development which can stably form images with sufficiently reduced fog for a long period of time while suppressing toner splashing. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development comprises color particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant and an external additive externally added to the color particles, and is characterized in that: the external additive contains inorganic fine particles showing opposite charging polarity to the color particles; and the primary particles of the inorganic fine particles in opposite polarity contain particles having not less than 160 nm by smaller than 20% in the number average particle diameter distribution and particles having not more than 80 nm by smaller than 20%.
