PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint for restraining the occurrence of looseness over a long period by stabilizing rocking torque. SOLUTION: A socket 16 is arranged by joining a substantially cylindrical first member 43 of a substantially bottomed cylindrical shape and a second member 44 arranged separately from the first member 43. A curved part 46 is formed in one end part (an illustrated upper end part) of the first member 43. An inner surface 47 of the curved part 46 is formed in a spherical surface shape along an outside surface of a spherical head part 23 by machining. A resin sheet 17 includes a substantially spherical-like third sheet 52. Since the third sheet 52 is formed in a spherical surface shape in advance, a deformation quantity is reduced when stored in the socket 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
