A disaster tolerance control device and a method for performing communication with a disaster tolerance control device, wherein the disaster tolerance control device is connected between one or more main nodes and one or more stand-by nodes, and a main node is provided with one or more stand-by nodes, the disaster tolerance control device comprises: an information receiving unit for receiving signaling or tandem calling to be sent to the main nodes from outside; a state detecting unit for detecting node state of the main nodes and the stand-by nodes of the main nodes; and an information transmitting unit for processing the signaling or tandem call based on the detection result of the state detecting unit.
