PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal slit protection element and a wall part capable of ensuring a protective covering in a horizontal construction joint part and achieving excellent strength in concrete filling density. SOLUTION: This horizontal slit protection element has a wall bar insertion part in which a lower end part of a vertical wall bar of a wall bar to be buried into the wall part is inserted, a bottom part, and a wall bar supporting part positioned between the wall bar insertion part and the bottom part. The wall bar insertion part and the wall bar supporting part have substantially the same cross sectional shape, and area of a bottom surface of the bottom part when viewed in a plane is larger than cross sectional area of the vertical wall bar. Three projecting parts are formed in at least three directions of radiation on the bottom surface, and each of the projecting parts has a substantially bowl shape in its cross sectional shape in the direction crossing the bottom surface orthogonally.
