A device (1) for guiding a front end tool has a rotation supporting section (20) which is supported in a water chamber (100) of a vapor generator by pressing and stretching a stationary structure member provided in the water chamber (100) and which rotates on a rotation axis (TL), a forward end tool which is connected to the rotation supporting section (20) via a slide table (30) as a movable member and via a manipulator mounted to the slide table (30) and treats a surface to be treated, and a pressing member (10A) which reinforces the rotation supporting section (20) so that the rotation supporting section (20) can withstand force acting thereon in the direction of rotation thereof and which is provided in the water chamber (100).
