摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting grounding of a rotor field in a rotation machine. <P>SOLUTION: The system is able to include a rotor of a rotation machine, which has a plurality of field windings 160, substantially arranged, and a stator 140 of the rotation machine which has a plurality of stator windings 170 as to have an air gap 120 between the rotor and the stator. The system can include a high-impedance grounding circuit, connected between the rotor and the stator at least temporarily. In addition, the system is able to include an air-gap magnetic-field probe 130 for measuring the magnetic field density generated in the air gap, while driving the rotation machine which is positioned between the rotor and the stator, at least temporarily. Finally, the system can include further an analyzer for electrically communicating with the air-gap magnetic-field probe, for receiving the output of the air-gap magnetic-field probe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
