<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attachably and detachably assemble a belt unit and a process cartridge in an apparatus body frame, with a new configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A clamping part 15 is provided to the side of a driven roller 12B of the belt unit 10 and a first rib wall 15F being a contact part which can come into contact with a cartridge casing 3D prior to a photoreceptive drum 3A is provided to the clamping part 15, when the process cartridge 3K is attached to an apparatus body.
