<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of face authentication: there is not an easy method for instructing the direction of a face to which a face has to be faced though accuracy is improved if performing the authentication by use of face images wherein the face faces a plurality of directions, because there are cases where the authentication accuracy becomes bad by an angle of the face or the position of the face reflected in a camera. <P>SOLUTION: In this authentication device, when using the plurality of face images of an authentication target as authentication information, a guide image instructing the direction to which the face of the authentication target has to be faced is selected from the plurality of face images according to an attribute of the authentication information, and image information obtained by composing the guide image and the photographed face image of the authentication target is displayed in the authentication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
