<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stiff paper led out from a fixing device from curling. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes the fixing device 130 which allows paper P to pass through a nip part between a fixing roller 131 which is internally provided with a heat source and a pressure roller 132 whose circumferential surface is brought into press-contact with a circumferential surface of the fixing roller 131 by rotation of the rollers, thereby performing fixing processing by heating to a toner image formed on a surface of the paper P on the fixing roller 131 side, and includes an in-body fin 21 disposed at a position closer to the fixing roller 131 side, and a guide box 40 arranged opposed to the in-body fin 21 on a pressure roller 132 side and guiding the paper P led out from the fixing device 130 with the in-body fin 21 just on a downstream side of the fixing device 130. The guide box 40 changes positionally to make a distance from the in-body fin 21 longer when the paper P is stiff one than when the stiff paper P is the ordinary one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
