PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system with high convenience for a user carrying a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A retrieval key of the mobile terminal is depressed to transmit displayed text information to a server of a retrieval service providing company. When receiving the information transmitted from the mobile terminal, the server of the retrieval service providing company detects the words in a database of its own server, and performs anchor processing (enlinking) to embed URL information of information related to the detected words. The server transmits content information, after this retrieval service processing, to the mobile terminal.
