PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase control device that achieves phase adjustment in a magic T synthesizer for each operation mode, in a transmitter dual system employing a magic T synthesis scheme. SOLUTION: A phase controller 15 determines, in a TX1 single operation mode, whether an output signal of a transmitter (TX1) is in a NORMAL state or in a BYPASS state, at an AND circuit 15e. When the output signal is in the BYPASS state, the phase controller performs a phase control with respect to the magic T synthesizer so that the phase of the output signal of the transmitter (TX1) is shifted by 90°. At the same time, the phase controller determines, in a TX2 single operation mode, whether an output signal of a transmitter (TX2) is in the NORMAL state or in the BYPASS state, at an AND circuit 15g. When the output signal is in the BYPASS state, the phase controller performs a phase control with respect to the magic T synthesizer so that the phase of the output signal of the transmitter (TX2) is shifted by 90°.
