PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PLC device which reduces costs but is capable of covering all the range, the PLC device comprising a noise filter. SOLUTION: A PLC modem 9 includes an AC outlet 19 and connects an electric device. Furthermore, a noise filter 18 includes a plurality of filters. A communication status monitoring circuit 161 transmits a packet periodically, and judges whether a communication path can be secured. In the case where a packet loss occurs predetermined times or more, a control section 11 instructs the noise filter 18 to insert a filter having a high impedance characteristic into a corresponding band.
