PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a structure surrounding a display section from being seen from the outside, while increasing strength in electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has a cabinet component 11, the display section 2, and a reinforcing member 3. The cabinet component 11 composes at least one portion of a cabinet 1, and has light transmittance. The display section 2 is stored in the cabinet 1, and a surface 21 is covered with the cabinet component 11. The reinforcing member 3 has light transmittance lower than that of the cabinet component 11, reinforces the cabinet component 11, and is attached onto an inner surface 11a in the cabinet component 11 at a peripheral position of the display section 2.
