PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice guidance system for a passenger conveyor providing easy-hear voice guidance output from a voice guidance device installed in each of a plurality of adjacent passenger conveyors and broadcasting voice guidance all the time even if other passenger conveyors are stopped with any other passenger conveyor operated. SOLUTION: Out of the plurality of voice guidance devices 10 installed in the plurality of passenger conveyors 1 respectively, the voice guidance device 10 first started becomes a master and the voice guidance device 10 subsequently started becomes a slave. A synchronizing signal for synchronizing output timing of voice guidance is transmitted from the master voice guidance device 10 to the slave voice guidance device 10, and the slave voice guidance device 10 controls output timing of the voice guidance based on the synchronizing signal transmitted from the master voice guidance device 10.
