In a resin film manufacturing method, a metal thin film (3) is deposited or printed on a surface of a lower film (2), an upper film (4) is placed on the metal thin film (3), the lower film (2) and the upper film (4) are pressurized in a direction so as to sandwich the metal thin film (3), and the lower film (2) and the upper film (4) are welded to each other by opening the metal thin film (3) by irradiating the metal thin film (3) with a laser beam (7) through the upper film (4). Thus, in the resin film manufacturing method, the lower film and the upper film can be bonded, while a distance between the lower film and the upper film is kept uniform with smaller energy.
