Disclosed is a solar cell module that comprises: a translucent substrate (4), a plurality of solar cell elements (6) that are arranged upon the translucent substrate (4) with gaps in between, a resin layer (5) that is provided upon the solar cell elements (6) and that has a plurality of recessed areas on the surface on the side opposite the solar cell elements (6), and a back surface sheet (9) provided upon the resin layer (5). The back surface sheet (9) has a plurality of protruding parts that contact and correspond to the recessed parts of the resin layer (5), wherein the protruding parts that are located at sites that correspond to the gaps between the solar cell elements (6) are taller than the protruding parts that are located at sites that correspond to the solar cell elements (6). The back surface sheet (9) enables efficient relaxation of stress that occurs due to the different degrees of expansion and contraction of the various members due to heat.
