<p>An industrial mechanical handling station has a central work station with an industrial robot at the centre of a group of incoming containers and outgoing containers. The robot extracts products at an intermediate stage of production from a container that is specific to this stage of production, releasing it for continued use. The products removed are transferred to buffer stock containers (15, 16, 17, 18) that are then removed to a holding point and stored until required for further processing. At this point the previous process is reversed.</p> |
