<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet monitor convenient to carry and capable of effectively exhibiting its primary function of detecting ultraviolet rays by providing it with an additional function. SOLUTION: This portable ultraviolet monitor is equipped with a display part 8 for monitoring degrees of daily exposure to ultraviolet rays. An ultraviolet sensor 20 outputs a detection signal according to the detected level of ultraviolet rays. A CPU 1 prepares information on momentary or cumulative ultraviolet rays based on the signal from the sensor 20. The CPU 1 not only presents the information on ultraviolet rays but also displays a character image on the display part 8.</p> |
