<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-off valve formed in a simple shape, having excellent assemblage, disassemblability, and strength, and capable of assuring sufficient water flow passages. <P>SOLUTION: This cut-off valve is slidably incorporated in a joint formed of a joint body and a connection body and connectable to a connection hose. A flange is provided at one end of a shaft body, and two movable pieces having a flexibility are fitted to the other end through a split groove. An annular groove for fitting an O-ring therein is provided in the movable piece side outer peripheral surface of the flange. The two movable pieces are formed so that the centers thereof on both sides of the split groove are diverted from the center of the shaft body toward the tip thereof. In addition, a plurality of projections are provided around the flange, and a plurality of projected lines are provided on the peripheral surface of the shaft body to form water flow passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
