<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a functional knitted fabric having high durability to laundering, in particular having deodorant performance without decline in fiber physical properties and feel of touch. SOLUTION: This functional knitted fabric is obtained by the following procedure: a knitted fabric composed of fiber containing 0.01-3 wt.% of polyallylamine or a polyallylamine compound 5,000-100,000 in number-average molecular weight, wherein the above amine compound exists in the interior of the fiber within such a range as to lie 5 nm or further but <=300 nm apart from the fiber surface, is impregnated with a treatment solution containing polyallylamine or the polyallylamine compound and then subjected to dry heat treatment at 90-180 deg.C for 1-90 min, washed with water, and subsequently dried.</p> |
