[Class 130] [Also in Groups XIV and XVII] To enable an ash-tray 1 or a cigarette stand, glass holder, match.holder, or other article to rest on a curved or uneven surface A such as a chair arm, a loose cover or bag 2 fitted under the article is partly filled with lead shot 4 or loose small weights which can move to adapt themselves to the shape of the support. The bag may be of soft leather, indiarubber, or textile material having a non -slip surface, and may be divided into compartments with loose weights in each. The edge of the bag is passed over a ring 3 and is secured by turning over the rim la of the tray &c.
