The container has a cup sealed by a covering film (1) with an opening tab (2), where a sealing (4) between the covering film and the cup in an area of the opening tab is weaker than in a residual area of a sealing edge (3). A sealing strength in the tab area is smaller than a tensile strength of the covering film. A breadth of the sealing edge in the tab area is smaller than a breadth in the residual area. The covering film comprises local mechanically weakened areas in the residual area and/or in an area adjacent to the residual area.
