An environmentally friendly aqueous paint composition, and its preparation method are provided to prevent the generation of volatile organic compounds, to radiate far infrared rays and to emit anions. An environmentally friendly aqueous paint composition comprises 15-20 parts by weight of an acrylic emulsion; 7-10 parts by weight of calcium carbonate (CaCO3); 7-10 parts by weight of talc; 7-10 parts by weight of titanium dioxide (TiO2); 20-30 parts by weight of a natural mineral powder which is a mixture comprising illite, tourmaline and monazite; and 35-40 parts by weight of water. The ratio of illite, tourmaline and monazite is 1 : 1 : 0.5. |
